What is your comfort zone? Are you comfortable where you are currently in life? Should you become comfortable because are just okay with what you’ve achieved? NO!
Be grateful but not satisfied.
Dissatisfaction and restlessness is the key to breaking the yoke you want broken.
And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck – Genesis 27:40
When you have had enough and get mad about it then you are ready to leave the ‘comfort zone’ to your place of true expression.
Become Restless: Leave the Comfort Zone
The Falcon And The Branch
There was once a king who received a gift of two magnificent falcons.
They were peregrine falcons, the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. He gave the precious birds to his head falconer to be trained.
So many months passed, and one day the head falconer informed the king that though one of the falcons was flying majestically, soaring high in the sky, the other bird had not moved from its branch since the day it had arrived.
The king summoned healers and sorcerers from all the land to tend to the falcon, but no one could make the bird fly.
He then gave the task to the members of his court. Then the next day, the king saw through the palace window that the bird had still not moved from where it perched.
Having tried everything else, the king thought to himself, “May be I need someone more familiar with the countryside to understand the nature of this problem.”
So he cried out to the members of his court, “Go and get a farmer.”
In the morning, the king was thrilled to see the falcon soaring high above the palace gardens. He said to his court, “Bring me the doer of this miracle.”
The court quickly located the farmer, who presented himself before the king.
The king asked him, “How did you make the falcon fly?”
With his head bowed, the farmer said to the king, “It was very easy, your highness. I simply cut the branch where the bird was sitting.”
We are all made to fly — to realize our incredible potential as human beings. But at times we sit on our branches, clinging to the things that are familiar to us.
The possibilities are endless, but for most of us, they remain undiscovered. We conform to the familiar, the comfortable, and the mundane. We can never fly that way.
So for the most part, our lives are mediocre instead of exciting, thrilling and fulfilling.
Learn to destroy the branch of fear you cling to and free yourself to a glorious flight!
It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord – Isaiah 6:1
There are things and people in your life that my need to ‘die’ or painfully fade away for your true lory to shine.
There are times life suddenly pulls the rug from under you. Unfortunately and fortunately that is when you begin to see possibilities and opportunities you hadn’t seen initially.
If you want something you have never had, then you have to do something you have never done.
In your career, business, organization and life you need to become comfortable being uncomfortable. Get off your b*tt! To truly express yourself you must leave your comfort zone and not care what others say or think.

Incidentally I have a different view about comfort zone. I wish people can create comfort zones & turn them to zones of learning & growth.
Lol. True. I remember your take on this. It all boils down to not being mediocre in what one does but rather being comfortable in your skin performing at optimal levels.
